It’s that time again ladies, MOCKTAIL SUNDAY FUNDAY! I know you’re probably using that last recipe on the regular, but I wanted to open up more options for your weekly indulgence. This one is actually super easy to make, and it is healthy, so really it’s a win-win. Just need a few basic ingredients and that is perfect because it is lower cal, only contains natural sugars and is good for someone who has a serious citrus craving. I know some mommas get crazy cravings for citrus. Have you ever heard of women drinking lemon juice from those little lemon bottles. Yes, the craving was so much that they had to actually squeeze lemon juice into their mouths from that little lemon bottle. It is real, I swear. I did not have super crazy citrus cravings but I did have a thing for oranges. So, this is a little citrus spritzer for a hot sunny day or a little cocktail to balance you out over the fall, winter and spring months when we have an abundance of Halloween candy, Thanksgiving and Christmas desserts and Valentines and Easter chocolates… wow, so many sweet treats associated with holidays haha. 

Citrus Splash Spritzer

  • 1 Glass of Perrier
  • Squeeze fresh fruit into sparkling water
    • 2 Oranges
    • 1 Grapefruit
    • 1 Lemon (if you want a sour twist) 

Garnish with frozen raspberries – sometimes I like to crush them in my drink as well for a bit of added sweetness
